Almost Christmas

What a great day!

Lots of packages are under the tree and I can't wait to see what I got
for Christmas. Don't I look handsome in my red bandana?

Joe and the New Reindeer Toy

What a great day! Mom and Dad have started Christmas shopping and they found a new toy for me! The best part about this toy is that it has THREE squeekers in it - one in the head and one on each foot. I love playing with this toy, even though I don't look like it in the picture. Sometimes I get really bored posing for pictures..... :)

Joe and the Bath

What a great day!

Every time Dad asks me if I want a bath I run in and jump in the tub. Really it's not even the bath I love nearly as much as I love the towel drying afterwards.

And I figured out that when the humans tell me to Dry Off I'm supposed to shake my whole body like I do when I get out of the lake. They all laugh and give me lots of pets, so now I just do a Dry Off any time I want pets and it works!

Joe Waiting For Dad

What a great day! The weather finally feels like fall, so I like to
sit in the backyard and wait for my dad to come home. Mom came out to
take my picture because she said I looked very handsome.

Joe and Dad Watch TV

What a great day! Dad decided to lay on the floor in the office to watch tv instead of sitting in his chair. You know what that means - cuddle time with Joe! I was asleep and taking a really happy nap until Mom showed up with the camera. That's ok though because I know it makes her smile when she takes my picture.

Joe and Halloween!

What a great day! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays because Mom always dresses me up. This year I get to be Superman and I like to hear my Mom and Dad laugh with me. I can't wait til it's time for treat or treat tonight. All the kids come to the door just to see what costume I have on!

Joe Goes to Grandma's House

What a great day! Mom and Dad decided we would go up to Oklahoma and visit Grandma. On the way they pulled into a "scenic turnout" to take the back window out of the truck. I like it when they do that so that I can smell outside. Mom took that time to take pictures of me since I am so handsome. I was busy watching Dad mess with the truck.

Here I am showing Grandma my new trick - Kisses! Max was watching and trying to learn the trick, but he won't stay still long enough to learn anything. Silly Max.

Joe and the Pepsi Box

What a great day! Dad unloaded the Pepsi cans to the refrigerator and I got to play with the box!






I don't think People understand just how much fun things like this can be. First I like to just carry the box around a bit and kind of make friends with it.





Then I usually sit pretty so that Mom can my picture.





I have to be careful when I pick up the box though because sometimes it's a little hard to see where I'm going! That usually makes Mom and Dad laugh and that makes me happy and I wag my tail a bunch.

A Walk In The Park

What a great day! Mom and Dad took me to the park and there was nobody there! When that happens I get to hold my own leash and lead the way. I strutted all around the park and mom and dad had to keep up with me for a change.

After a bit though I got pretty tired and kept trying to turn and go towards our truck. I kept hearing "No Joe", but I really wanted to rest. They finally figured out what I was trying to say and we left to go home. I fell asleep on the way.

Sometimes I think they forget I'm an old dog! :)

Shopping at PetSmart

What a great day! The mean, evil cat that lives with us messed up my travel dog pad, so off we went to get a new one.















These aren't quite what I'm looking for mom - do they have any others to choose from?















Cool - look at me jumping up there lightning fast! This one looks just like the old one and I couldn't wait for dad to get it down for me to test drive.

Mom look - this one is perfect! It's just like the one I had! Mom and dad knew I loved it when they saw the big smile on my face.

This is what I look like when we put the pad in the truck. I'm really comfortable now!

Joe and the Tube

What a great day! I heard Dad in the kitchen messing with the paper towel holder and knew what that meant - an empty tube for me to play with!!! I love to carry them around and tease mom and dad with them. They try to get it away from me and I turn my head real quick...hehehehe!

One of my favorite things to do is to take my toys and rub around on the couch. Mom doesn't think it's nearly as much fun as I do, but she usually ends up laughing with me.
